Orthodontic Assistant

As a patient with our practice, you will become very acquainted with Kristin, one of our clinical assistants. Kristin has been working for Dr. Sousa since she graduated from New Hampshire Technical Institute in 1984. She has been a certified Dental Assistant for over 20 years and her warm, calm demeanor puts all of our patients at ease immediately. Kristin assists the doctor in placing braces, changing wires and elastics, and taking diagnostic records (impressions, photos, x-rays, etc). She also is skilled in tooth-whitening procedures, and works to assist patients with hygiene techniques. Kristin is able to answer any questions our patients may have, and she truly loves helping our patients and their families. Kristin's expertise and many years of experience is a tremendous asset to our practice.

She has been married for over 20 years and has 3 wonderful boys who keep her busy with their sports and music interests. Kristin enjoys camping, skiing and other outdoor activities she can do with her family.
